BMW is already busy electrifying its models. But the Munich-based company continues to launch new model generations of combustion models. We'll tell you what BMW fans can look forward to in the next few years. 2025 will be an important year for BMW, as the new iX3 will be the first model to be released with influences from the highly acclaimed "Neue Klasse" study.

New BMW models 2025
BMW iX3 (New Class X)
BMW plans to start production of the New Class cars from 2025. The new model of the iX3 will be the first model to get the look of the new class. For example, the manufacturer presented the BMW New Class X vision car as a foretaste of the SUV models of the future. The test vehicle has also already been spotted for the first time on test drives. The BMW Neue Klasse iX3 is a mixture of new and old – we are excited. BMW 2 Series Gran Coupé
On 16 October 2024, the new BMW 2 Series Gran Coupé was officially unveiled. As an additional entry point into the BMW cosmos, the 2 Series Gran Coupé offers an unusual design and is to be launched on the market from March 2025.
BMW 7 Series & i7 Facelift
Der neue BMW 7er dürfte in der zweite Hälfte des Jahres 2025 ein Facelift bekommen, schließlich ist die Oberklassenlimousine erst Ende 2022 auf den Markt gekommen. Beim pünktlichen Update zur Halbzeit der Lebensdauer scheinen sich größere Designänderungen anzubahnen. Die Änderungen dürften sich auch beim elektrischen i7 widerspiegeln. Neue BMW-Modelle 2026
BMW 3er und i3 (Neue Klasse)
Mit der neuen Generation des BMW 3er wird die Neue Klasse von BMW auch außerhalb der SUV-Baureihen Einzug halten. Die Neue Klasse dient bei BMW als Basis für Verbrenner als auch Elektromodelle und soll den beschwerlichen Weg der Mobilitätswende für die Münchner erleichtern. Wir rechnen mit einer Markteinführung 2026/2027 der neuen 3er im Gewand der Neuen Klasse.
BMW X5 und iX5
Der neue BMW X5 ist als Verbrenner zwar nicht direkt Teil der Neuen Klasse bei BMW, aber die Münchner nehmen zahlreiche Designelemente der Konzeptautos mit in die Gestaltung der neuen Generationen. Wahrscheinlich 2026 kommt der neue X5 und parallel dazu die E-Variante der iX5, auch wenn der iX5 noch nicht auf der Neue Klasse-Plattform basieren wird.
BMW M8-Nachfolger
BMW wird auf Grundlage der New-Class-Plattform sehr wahrscheinlich einen leistungsstarken – und möglicherweise elektrischen – Nachfolger für den M8 ins Auge fassen. Dieser könnte über 1.000 PS Leistung bekommen. Doch noch ist nichts bestätigt. Wir haben ein Rendering erstellt, und zeigen dir, wie das Auto aussehen könnte. Vor 2026 ist damit nicht zu rechnen.
BMW Neue Klasse Coupe
Die Neue Klasse bei BMW scheint nun auch einen Coupe-Ableger zu haben. Zumindest wurde ein Coupe im Design der Neuen Klasse auf Testfahrten gesichtet. Was es genau mit dem Testwagen auf sich hat ist noch unklar, vor 2026 ist wahrscheinlich nicht mit neuen Informationen zu rechnen.
BMW M3 Elektro
Der M3 geht 2027 mit einer neuen Generation an den Start und in dieser wird es den M3 zum ersten Mal auch als Vollstromer geben. Zwar wird parallel eine Verbrenner-Variante gebaut, aber das Top-Modell soll der leistungsstärkere Elektro-M3 werden. Wir haben erste Erlkönigbilder und Informationen für dich gesammelt. BMW Skytop Cabrio
Der offene Zweisitzer hatte bei der Präsentation im Oktober 2024 als Konzeptauto die Aufmerksamkeit vieler sicher. Schließlich wirkte das elegantes Cabrio scheinbar aus der Zeit gefallen, nachdem mehr und mehr Cabrios eingestellt werden.
Now the first prototypes of the limited production version are on test drive and we can probably look forward to the Skytop in 2026.
BMW M5 Facelift
Although the new BMW M5 will not be released until 2024, the Munich-based company is apparently already working on a facelift for the sports sedan. The facelift comes in the style of the Neue Klasse and thus promises numerous design changes and new technologies on board.
The facelift to the BMW M5 will probably not come until 2027, but BMW is probably working flat out to update the entire model range to the "New Class".
